LONDON (AP) – Obese women have more difficulty than others in finding a sexual partner and obese men are more affected by erectile dysfunction, according to a European study published Wednesday in the medical journal BMJ.
The researchers discovered that obese women were 30% less likely to have had one sexual partner during the past year than women of normal weight. In contrast, few differences were observed on this point between obese men and those of normal weight.
Previous studies have shown similar trends, but researchers were surprised by the differences between the sexes.
